How to find the lost remote control
1、 Find the remote control
1. Check conspicuous places. You can easily put the remote control in the room where you watch TV. Many people will put the remote control near the TV or sit there watching TV. People often leave the remote control on the sofa.
2. Find an inconspicuous place. Check whether the remote control is pressed under books, magazines, blankets and clothes. Check the gap between the sofa cushion and the seat cushion. Check and back check the furniture.
Check the places you have been to with the remote control, such as the shelf and bath cabinet beside the kettle.
Think about where you have been. Maybe you walk to the door with the remote control, thinking about other things, and then you don't know where to put it. Think about whether the remote control will be placed on the way to the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or front door.
• Check the refrigerator. If you have eaten or drunk in a few hours, it is easy to leave the remote control in the refrigerator.
• You may receive a call while watching TV, and put the remote control aside when making a call. It is also possible that you hear the sound of opening the door, then walk to the door with the remote control and put it in the hallway.
4. Take a pat on the bedspread. If you are lying in bed watching TV, try this method. The remote control is usually hidden under the quilt or bedspread. The best way is to touch it with your hand to see if you can find a square object. If not, check the bed bottom and around the bed foot.

2、 Ask the people around you
1. Ask other people in the family. If your family has used the remote control recently, it may give you some clues. He or she can easily put the remote control in a place where you don't usually put it, or throw the remote control in a corner where you rarely go. Even if you can't find the remote control immediately, asking your family can help you reduce the search range.
2. Confirm whether someone has taken the remote control. It is easy for children at home to take the remote control to the room and forget to put it back. The baby at home may find it funny and hide the remote control. The dog at home can easily take away the remote control and chew it in his mouth! Think carefully about which member of the family will take away the remote control for what reason.
• Check the child's toy box. Maybe the children have taken away the remote control, and you are still in the dark!
3. Seek help. You don't need to fight alone! Ask friends or family to help you find the remote control. If they can give enough benefits, they may be more motivated. For example, we can find a remote control to call everyone together to watch a movie, or we have a chance to catch up with the program in 20 minutes.

3、 Take precautions
Pay more attention to the remote control. In the future, as long as you pay more attention to the whereabouts of the remote control, it is not easy to lose it. Every time you put the remote control on your own, remember the location of the remote control.
2. Put the remote control in one place. Don't put it anywhere else. You can install a special "remote control storage box" beside the coffee table or TV set or on the sofa or table.
• If you often cannot find the controller, consider buying a storage box so that the remote control can be placed in a fixed position.
• Attach the Velcro to the back of the remote control, and then attach the other half of the Velcro to the TV. Affix the remote control firmly to the TV.
3. Make the remote control more eye-catching. Wear a bright belt or long fluffy tail, or install a reflector. Tie a ribbon, put on wings or stick on a pair of plastic legs. Install any accessories to make it easy for you to find the remote control, but do not install items that will affect the function of the remote control.
4. Consider purchasing universal remote control. [2] This remote control can be used in most TV sets. You don't need to leave a pile of easily confused remote controls. You will find that you often use different remote controls to control TV, DVD player, audio system and other equipment, so it is best to find four remote controls.
5. Install the remote control GPS locator. Some companies have begun to sell small positioning devices that can be connected to mobile applications at relatively low prices. This locator is installed on the TV remote control to avoid missing the remote control. Near the remote control, you can set the phone to beep. Some applications can even find the remote control at a distance.
